The PFI Index is Fluxion’s proprietary framework for measuring and ranking the commercial value of industrial innovation across India’s infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. Most innovation indices measure inputs — R&D spend, patent filings, research headcount. The PFI Index measures outcomes: where innovation has generated real operational uplift, real margin improvement, real competitive repositioning.
We built this index because we found ourselves repeatedly making investment decisions that required a rigorous answer to a question nobody had cleanly answered: which technologies, in which industrial contexts, in which implementation conditions, actually pay back? The PFI Index is our answer — published, updated, and open for engagement.
